I read that a surprising amount of people are unable to convert folate into a useable nutrient, so it makes sense to buy the active form. I can’t take multivitamins as many of the vitamins in them upset my stomach, so I prefer to take individual ones where needed. Packaging the tablets in a letterbox-friendly bottle is brilliant, and the tablets are small enough to be easily swallowed. It’s a few months until my next round of blood tests but I feel confident that my folate levels will be significantly higher after taking these. Gentle and effective.
I bought this on the hype that methylated folic acid might be better absorbed by individual with different genetics. So I tried just in case. However I see better effect with plain standard folic acid and that is 400 mcg.
I have been in the supplement business for many years. MF is one of those incredible supplements most people don't know about. It's very good for the liver. Excellent quality here. Highly recommended.
