Why We Started xSpan Labs
It started with a simple question: why are most supplements still formulated as though every body is the same?
The answer was not encouraging. Most supplement research is conducted on young male subjects. Dosages are extrapolated from studies that rarely account for hormonal fluctuations. And the changes that every woman experiences — through her 30s, 40s, 50s and beyond — are treated as an afterthought by an industry selling one-size-fits-all solutions.
Active women over 30 were being failed. Women navigating perimenopause were being told to "just push through." Women in menopause were offered a single product on the shelf, not a core mission. And women over 50 who refused to slow down were invisible to the supplement industry entirely.
xSpan Labs exists because we believe that gap is unacceptable. Women’s hormonal transitions are not a niche — they are universal. And active women going through these changes deserve supplements designed specifically for their biology.

We actively seek out research conducted on women, and where it does not exist, we formulate based on the best available evidence for female physiology. We believe women deserve to know what the science says — and what it does not yet know.
